Private Pilot (PPL)

Requiring a minimum of 40-flight hours, our Private Pilot course will take you from your first flight to a fully-certified FAA Private Pilot. Holding a Private Pilot license allows you to act as pilot in command of a private aircraft. Unlock the freedom of flight!

Instrument Rating (IFR)

The Instrument Pilot course trains a pilot to safely operate an aircraft in instrument flight conditions (IFR/IMC). Our training course consists of 40 hours flight training with a flight instructor and 50 hours of cross-country time building. Training is supplemented with our flight simulator to lower training costs

Commercial Pilot (CPL)

The Commercial Pilot course prepares you for piloting an aircraft as a professional commercial pilot. Melbourne Flight training offers a choice of an initial 25-hour Multi-Engine Commercial course or a Single-Engine Commercial course, as well as add-on ratings to your existing commercial.

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (CFI)

If your goal is to one day become a Certified Flight Instructor and to go on teaching others, this is the course for you. This 20-hour flight course will give you all of the necessary training to make you a certified flight instructor. We offer initial flight instructor airplane (CFI-A), instrument instructor (CFII), and multi-engine instructor (MEI).

AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT (ATP)

Airline Transport is the highest rating of pilot certifications you can achieve. Individuals holding an Airline Transport Pilot certification are certified to act as pilot in command on scheduled air carriers. Requiring a pre-requisite certification of the ATP-CTP, the Airline Transport course is available in both Single-Engine and Multi-Engine aircraft.

MULTI-ENGINE

Our Multi-Engine courses feature advanced flight training in our BE-76 Duchess, so you can become a certified multi-engine pilot. The Multi-Engine course is available as an initial course (25 hours), as well as an add-on rating (6 hours).
