MFT is an FAA-approved Part 141 flight school, which is an aviation training institution that operates under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and guidelines outlined in Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 141. Approved schools provide structured and standardized flight training programs to individuals who aspire to become professional pilots.

Private Pilot

The student will obtain the knowledge, skills, and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for a Private Pilot Certificate with the Airplane Category and Single Engine Land Class Rating.

Prerequisites: Student Pilot Certificate, Current Medical Certificate.

Instrument Rating

The student will obtain the knowledge, skills, and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for an Instrument Rating Airplane.

Prerequisites: Private Pilot Certificate.

Commercial Pilot Airplane Single Engine Land – Initial

Accelerated flight instructor instrument (CFII) add-on to an initial CFI-A certificate.

Prerequisites: Private Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating

Commercial Multi Engine Add-On Rating

Accelerated flight instructor multi-engine class rating (MEI) add-on to an initial CFI-A certificate.

Prerequisites: Commercial Pilot Airplane Single-Engine Land Certificate

Certified Flight Instructor – Airplane

The student will obtain the knowledge, skills, and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for a Certified Flight Instructor Rating Single Engine Land.

Prerequisites: Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot Airplane Single Engine Land Certificate.

We are pleased to offer a large fleet of 34 aircraft for our Space Coast pilot students. We use the safe and reliable Garmin-equipped Cessna 172 single-engine aircraft for most programs and courses.
The FAA Instrument Rating (IFR) course is a 42-flight hour course with 10 hours of BATD simulator to prepare the student for instrument flight.
